Wave Retreat is a project for a community health care centre in Carlton. The aim of the health care centre was to create a sanctuary that people could escape to. Following this idea Wave Retreat focuses on active health and promoting a lifestyle that includes self-care and self-expression. Therefore, active spaces such as a bathhouse, yoga rooms and other movement spaces are central to the design of the building.
